When you check your score, does it hurt your credit?

Nothing! As of September 21, 2018, you can freeze and unfreeze your credit file for free.
What is the highest and lowest score you could possibly have?
300 to 850
The higher the better.
Can you improve your score by having negative, incorrect info removed from your credit report?
Yes, which is reason #817 why you need to keep tabs on your credit report. If you find incorrect info, you can dispute with the credit bureau that reported it. Once removed, it won't harm your credit score and could result in it going higher.
